Toshiba Combo TV has excellent Reviews are simple great on this Toshiba 15LV505

Adams Jones–Dallas, Texas–Review of the Toshiba Combo TV

TV is very good, good picture, good sound It does have aq 3-5 second delay when changing channels when the set is first turned on that can be annoying, but that’s even OK.

Pat Henry–Pennsylvania–Review of the Toshiba Combo TV

The Toshiba 15lv505 tv comes with a QAM tuner so you can pull any unscrambled analog and digital TV signals from your cable company. The TV accepts coax and ColorStream conponent connections.

CONs:

  • Tuner is fairly slow when switching stations.
  • Stand is not adjustable for different angles or height.
The only negative is the 3-5 second delay when changing channels or when you first turn on the
TV.  Generally speaking, this is a nice TV forthe price that has many functions.
An adjustable stand would be nice, but at this size its not a necessity.
Whey the tuner lags, I do not know, taking approximately 2-4 seconds in
between channels.  If you go from channel tochannel this will annoy you.

George Henry–California–Review of the Toshiba Combo TV

Included with the Toshiba Combo TV, there’s an included DVD player (which I didn’t need but O, well) and its footprint is wee-wee-tiny….on my breakfast counter it is a godsent.  I now have room to spread out the morning paper.  I paid close attention to reviews of the 15″ flat screen TV’s and while I think $299 is pretty high for a small screen, the other cheaper no-names seemed to have gotten rotten reviews. I’m trusting in
Toshiba’s reputation and the Reviews. The unit was shipped amazinly fast and is light as a feather.
In sum, simplicity, practicality, price and state-of-the-art technology tell me this is a “gadget” to own–if only because it behaves less like a gadget than a utilitarian necessity. Just remember to set it in “move mode” (I know, too yellow on most HD sets), which seems like the perfect setting for all program types on this baby.

Tommy Hebert–New York–Review of the Toshiba Combo TV

I purchased this TV, Toshiba 15LV505,  to replace an old rabbit eared CRT on the kitchen counter. Running new cable was the only work involved. The only problem that I have encountered with the TV itself is that I watch it too much.
We’ve had the Toshiba Combo for less than a month and are generally pleased with the set.  The move to a digital signal has resulted in a much improved picture over our older Sharp analog LCD TV. The viewing angle is good, which is important to us as we use this TV on our kitchen table and we sit on opposite sides.
As others have mentioned channel switching on this Toshiba Combo TV  is a bit slow.  The set does not swivel vertically and I wish the remote had direct input for a few favorite channels.  We have not tried the DVD player and don’t plan on much use of this feature.
I highly recommend our Toshiba 15lv505 TV for the compact design and versatility of features.Toshiba Combo TV

Lois Williams–Houston, Texas–Review of the Toshiba Combo TV

I ordered the Toshiba 15LV505 15.6″ TV with DVD and love it.  The DVD player is very easy to use. The picture is clear and the settings are easy to change. I’m not a tv watcher so this size is perfect, not overpowering to a small living space. There is a slight delay in channel changes, but I am not a surfer, so am not bothered by that. Great little TV!
Some have complained about the amount of time this Toshiba Combo TV needs to switch channels.  It’s no problem to us. After the first day we carefully went though the entire channel list.  We wrote down the channels, networks, etc, beyond our normal cable offerings.  These are the channels in 5 digits that the Qam tuner pick upfor you.  We’ve typed up the list, and now we don’t waste time searching.  We know exactly the station number we desire which is very useful when you have stations like 85.600. A final plus is that it is energy star rated.  We’re very happy with this TV.

Henry Troy–Nederland–Review of theToshiba Combo TV

I have had the Toshiba Combo for about 2 weeks.  I am definitely pleased so far.  Picture is very good -the contrast is comparable to our 46 inch.  This TV is far the kitchen to replace an underr the counter 7 inch that just gave out.  This is a much better size for the space.
We got the DVD player on the TV, eventho we reallydidn’t need a DVD player, but we got a really good price on the combo.  Now we really like the DVD player because on it’s menu it list the tracks and etc.  We found we really like that feature.  The TV is nicely compacted into a small size…I did a great deal ofcomparing before I bough this TV, so I will say it is a barbain price.
